ADAT Corporate Action Plans(CAPs)
ADATs are required to prepare and submit to the Executive annual plans for tackling drug and alcohol misuse in their areas. These plans should address national and local priorities. For completed CAPs see individual areas. The Scottish Executive have recently issued a set of guidance notes and a template for the year 2007/08.

Local Alcohol Profiles
The Substance Misuse Team at ISD Scotland has produced Local Alcohol Profiles for 2006. The profiles are intended to support local alcohol policy, planning and service delivery and to identify and monitor trends. The information is limited to those aspects of alcohol use and resulting harms for which data is collected nationally and for which a breakdown of local figures is available.
Letter to ADATs
Letter from Scottish Executive to ADATs (PDF 106Kb) on the assessment of Alcohol and Drug Action Teams (ADATs), based on the principles of best value. The stock-taking exercise will use the principles of best value to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of ADATs within the context of continuous improvement.
Additional information about AATs is available from the Scottish Association of Alcohol Action Teams.
